Credit invoice

You can create credit notes based on invoices sent to the customers. The credit note includes all invoice information, and it is allocated based on the invoice number. 

Create a credit note as follows:  

  1. Click Invoice, and select Overview. The Invoice Overview page opens.  

  2. For the desired sent invoice, click Credit Note.  

  3. The Credit Note page opens. 

  4. Most of the credit invoice fields are copied from the original debit invoice, however some editing is possible.

  5. The application proposes a unique Credit Note Number based on the previously used numbers. You can enter a new unique, continuous credit note number.  

  6. You can also add buyer reference or comment to the invoice header.

  7. If you want to credit the invoice only partially, you can change the line item quantity accordingly.

  8. You can also upload attachment documents to the header or line items. Application generates PDF image of the credit note. To see the image, click PDF Preview.

  9. Click Save. The Save or Save and Send window opens.  

  10. If you want to send the credit note to the customer, click Save & Send. Otherwise, click Save to keep the invoice as a draft.
